On Wednesday, Dec 19, the Knightstown Panther wrestlers went on the road to Lapel High School for two conference duals. They split the double dual with a 22-46 loss to the Centerville Bulldogs and a 63-12 win over the Union City Indians. This brings their season record to 11-6
.A number of wrestlers picked up wins in both duals including 113lb junior Kalen Carter, 182lb sophomore Liam Orcutt, 195lb junior Aiden Orcutt, 220lb sophomore Skylar Medlin, and 285lb sophomore Sam Thomas.
Splitting on the day, 106lb freshman Caiden Smith, 120lb junior Jared Richardson, 126lb freshman Luke Thomas, 132lb junior Justin Lane, 138lb junior Nick Walsh, 145lb junior Nick Lawson, and 170lb sophomore Ben Newby
Head Wrestling Coach Robbie Hadley was happy to see his team improve. “It is always tough to lose, but Centerville is a very talented team,” Hadley said. “However, our wrestlers put up a good performance and showed that we have a lot of talent.”
