Knightstown High School vs Tri High School
55 18

On Thursday, Jan 3, the Knightstown Panther wrestlers traveled to Tri High School for a dual meet against the conference opponents.. They displayed a decisive victory with a 55-18 win despite injuries and sickness forcing them to forfeit 3 weight classes.
Wrestling started at 182lbs with sophomore Liam Orcutt picking up a win. Aiden Orcutt, 195lb junior, followed with a pin. The team also picked up wins with 113lb junior Kalen Carter, 120lb junior Jared Richardson, 126lb freshman Luke Thomas, 132lb junior Justin Lane, 138lb junior Nick Walsh, 152lb junior Landon Carmichael, 160lb sophomore Ben Newby, and ending with 170lb sophomore Muncy pinning his opponent in 7 seconds.
Knightstown Head Wrestling Coach Robbie Hadley was happy to see his team put on a dominating performance. “It is always great when you get most of your team to win their meet and mostly by pin or tech fall,” Hadley said. “We performed better than when we faced them earlier this season and allowed 21 points.”
The Panthers have their last home meet of the season on Tuesday Jan 8th versus Eastern Hancock High School with a start time of 6pm.
