The Lady Panther Volleyball team lost to Hagerstown last night in a close match 3-0. The Lady Tigers took set 1 and 2, 25-21 and 25-23, respectively. Set three was taken by the Lady Tigers 25-20. Both teams will meet again Tuesday night (10/21) in the opening round of sectionals held at Knightstown High School.
Monday morning, the IHSAA released the tournament for volleyball. All games will be played at Knightstown High School. The schedule is as follows: Tuesday October 21st at 7pm Hagerstown vs Knightstown Thursday October 23rd at 6pm Eastern Hancock vs Union County immediately followed by Centerville vs Cambridge City. The Varsity Volleyball team competed in the Henry County Tournament Saturday morning at Knightstown High School. The Panthers defeated Blue River 3-1 in game one to advance to the Championship game. The Varsity Football team was defeated by the visiting Lapel Bulldogs last night 39-7 on Senior Night. Senior Kaleb Kinnaman scored the lone Panther touchdown with a 61 yard run. Kyler Schaetzle added the successful PAT. They play again next Friday, 10/17, when they travel to Milan for a 7pm kickoff.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday Oct. 30th at 7pm in the high school auditorium. This will be a meeting for any student-athlete grades 7-12 interested in participating in winter sports. Once our Athletic Parent meeting concludes, each sport will break off into their individual sport parent meetings.
