Boys Varsity Tennis · Knightstown Tennis Shuts Out Winchester 5–0


Knightstown Tennis had another strong showing last night, sweeping TEC opponent Winchester 5–0 on the Panthers’ home court.  This win brings the Panthers at 13–0 for the season, and 6-0 in TEC conference play.

Senior AJ Dalton led the Panthers at #1 Singles, cruising to 6-3, 6-2 victory.  Brother Garrett Dalton followed suit at #2 Singles, winning 6-1, 6-0.   Junior Cooper Davis finished the blitz winning #3 Singles 6-1, 6-2.

Ethan Yoder and Kyle Johnson continue to improve their team chemistry, winning a good match at #2 Doubles, 6-3, 6-2. Alex Cook and Dylan Chandler completed the sweep, dominating #2 Doubles with a 6-2, 6-0 victory.

Brady Howard put in another good performance at #1 JV Singles, winning 8-4.   Connor Keith made the most of his first opportunity playing #2 JV Singles, winning 8-0.

The Panthers finish their week with an away match at Union City tonight and the Henry County Tourney on Saturday.
