Meet Recap

The KIS tennis team had a very competitive match against Shendandoah Monday; the boys won 3-2 and the girls won 3-1; both teams dominating the singles courts.
#1 singles Kyle Johnson and #2 singles Connor Pyle both continued their undefeated winning streak bringing their records to 8-0. Johnson faced his toughest opponent this season and fought hard to win in a tiebreak 8-7 (tiebreak 7-3). Pyle played a tough match at #2 singles defeating his opponent 8-3. Aiden Richardson followed up at #3 singles with the boys 3rd win for a score of 8-6. #1 doubles Brayden McDaniel & Eli Cain fought hard, but fell 3-8 and Hunter Steimel & Jackson Trott fell 0-8 at #2 doubles.
#1 singles Alissa Campton started off the girl’s win defeating her opponent 8-2, while #2 singles Kensi Cain followed up with a hard fought win of 8-6. #3 singles Luci Ahrendt completed the panther win sweeping her opponent 8-0. Doubles partners Jaiden Cook & Shayla Pruitt fell 3-8 in the last match.
